A FAMILIAR QUESTION

“Have we got everything ready?”

Follow the rental stages from the first contact to settling in. Keep shared updates, private owner notes and the exact paperwork beside the step they belong to.

01

Bring everyone’s details together.

Invite rental participants to confirm their details. Keep joint tenants, occupants and guarantors alongside rent, bills, deposit details and proposed dates.

02

Prepare the agreement.

Reuse agreement text you supply. Prefill saved property and participant details, review missing information, and keep a fixed version of the draft.

03

Make moving day easier.

Track paperwork, money and home-readiness checkpoints, then condition reports, keys, meter readings and settling-in follow-up.

THE DETAILS CONNECT

More useful.
Together.

The person who joined the rental plan can have a separate identity check and, when you choose, home access. Useful manuals and home details can then support the tenant after moving day.

Reaching people without the app7 useful details
  • Prepare an email, text or WhatsApp message.
  • Review recipients and wording before sharing.
  • Share documents through supported phone apps.
  • Share invitations, check links and rental paperwork.
  • Record that you sent something externally.
  • Keep wording, date and the selected file version.
  • Handle cancellation or unavailable sharing apps.

Sharing support depends on the chosen phone app and file type. Housetold cannot see whether an external message was delivered or read.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
get started.

Does joining the rental plan open all my property records?

No. Rental participants have separate permissions. Joining a plan does not automatically give someone access to the whole home.

Can I use my existing tenancy agreement?

You can save complete agreement text as a reusable template, prefill saved details, review it and export a PDF. Keep the returned signed copy attached to its exact version.

What if the tenant uses email or WhatsApp?

Prepare and review supported messages, invitations and files before sharing through your phone’s available apps. Internal property conversations require the appropriate home access.
